Getting to know each other
We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Bethel Church a great one!
Sunday SERVICE TIMEs
Bethel Church meets every Sunday and offers two identical service times to choose from: 9:00am and 11:00am.
What Should I Expect?
Bethel is a real church for real people! On a typical Sunday, you will likely see some people in a T-shirt and Jeans, while others dress formally. You might even see members of our worship team (and on occasion even our Pastors) wearing blue jeans, so wear whatever makes you comfortable! One of the reasons that we come to church in the first place is because we’re all imperfect people in need of Jesus Christ in our lives! You don’t need to be 'good enough' in order to join us at Bethel. In fact, you won't be met with shame, guilt, or condemnation because Bethel Church is made up of imperfect people who are passionate about the life-changing good news and forgiveness of Jesus Christ!
How long is a Bethel Church service?
In total, a Bethel Church service is about 75 minutes in length. Services begin with the Bethel Church band leading the church in music - song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion of service is complete, one of our pastors will come out to share an encouraging and hope-filled message about Jesus.
What about my kids?
We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week - and at Bethel Kids, we make this a priority. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our Bethel Kids program the first time that you visit. You’ll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes to get signed in for the Bethel Kids experience.
If you have children 5th grade or younger, you should enter at the southwest doors, near our playground. Volunteers will register your children and direct you to their proper classrooms. Since this process can take a few minutes, it might be a good idea to show up a little early.
Children begin by joining you in the main service and then Children Pre-K to 2nd Grade will be dismissed to our Children’s Church during mid-service.
Students (Grades 6-9) meet for Sunday School during the 9:00 am service in the LOFT, which is the smaller building to the southeast of our main building. On the first Sunday of every month there is no class for students so they can attend the worship service with their parents.
